Endo Valley

The weather lately has been cold, wet, and damp. There was little chance to climb this weekend, although I did make it out to Endo Valley for one day. Fortunately, despite the precipitation, a few boulders were dry and I had an enjoyable session on Sat. Most of my efforts were focused on a nice project on the same boulder as Chewbacca. It is pure, powerful and extremely fingery. I have always enjoyed climbing on small holds and this one will be a great test. It is four moves and I failed only to do the final move. Psyched to get back for another session on this one.
Sam Johnson works a project.
Ivo Penchev added a lower start to The Portal V8. The Portal starts on two crimps, 10 ft right of the project pictured above. It was put up by Dave Graham. The low start begins on a crack feature and climbs three hard moves into the stand. I did the second ascent soon after Ivo.
Finally, the guidebook is very close to being finished. Updates coming soon!

We want grades of projects man, grades! The wilder the speculation, the better! What did the lower start to The Portal go at? What about the earlier 4 move megaproj?
Could it be since you couldn’t do it first time, that according to the jens.nu grade theory it is actually V18?
