Jade 7th Ascent

Jimmy Webb has made the 7th ascent of Jade in RMNP. He has suggested V14. Carlo Traversi made the sixth ascent just a two weeks ago. Well done.

    Jade has become the Mandala of the next generation of climbers. An open project in a prominent area which took one of the best young climbers to put together. It seems like it is turning into a hardman trade route with the downgrade pressure that come with such a distinction.

    I’m so psyched for J Webb! J webb is quick to give a opinion on his disagreement with a given grade and i have climbed some problems that have been downgraded by him and i always agree. He has the mentality that bouldering should be hard as hell, which is why v14 should be given in the guidebook.
